Recent Events January trip to
The Penn State Karate Club
Our most recent trip to PSKC was a very special one, as one of our oldest club members, Ms. Laressa Bachelor, was tested, passed and was promoted to Shodan, first-degree Black Belt. Despite injuries sustained from a car accident in December, Laressa performed exceptionally well, and proved to the more than 20 PSKC Black belts present that she had what it takes to be an Isshinryu Shodan. We are all very proud of her!

Upcoming Events The next visit to the Penn State Karate Club will be on Saturday, August 5th. Any member planning to attend must inform Sensei Miller by the Thursday, July 27th workout. There is also a seminar in Philadelphia the next day (Sunday) that may be worth attending. See Sensei Miller for details. More events are forthcoming. |
